SFN stands for School Family Network. It is the parent volunteer group of Gig Harbor Academy (our PTA). The SFN meetings are an opportunity to connect with other GHA parents and get the latest information on activities planned for the school.
We bring the GHA community together! We provide/coordinate:
-The hot lunch program
-Wreath sales
-Teacher and staff birthday recognition
-Teacher and staff appreciation week celebrations
-Teacher thank you tables for conferences
-Fall Festival
-Holiday Helper Donation Drive
-GHA Parade Float for Maritime Gig Festival
-Annual Art Show
-Classroom Representative Communication
-Community Service
-Other fun family events!
We encourage all participants to dedicate as much or as little time as you want! We meet once per month In-person with an option to Zoom in as well for approximately 45 minutes.
