Welcome and thank you for your interest in Gig Harbor Academy Admissions! Exploring a new school is exciting, but it can also be a bit overwhelming. Accordingly, we are here to help shepherd families through the entire admissions process and to provide relevant information and opportunities to make informed decisions. The Gig Harbor Academy admissions process is designed to address the needs of each individual family inquiring about the school. Recognizing that every family is unique, with their own set of circumstances, schedules, and values, we are here to answer your questions and to guide you every step of the way.
Warmly, Megan Snow
Gig Harbor Academy Program Director
Upon inquiring about the school, families are encouraged to tour the campus during school hours to gain a deeper understanding of our environment and philosophy. Tours are scheduled and led by Program Director, Megan Snow. Classroom and Specialist Teachers are often available during tours to answer specific questions regarding program details, and Head of School, Dominic Kehoe, makes every effort to warmly welcome visiting families. After a tour, applications may be submitted online, and in addition to providing school records and requesting a teacher recommendation, incoming elementary students spend a day or more in class with their current grade-level peers before a decision is made.
K-5 Preview Days are held throughout the year to give prospective families an opportunity to experience part of a typical school day in our elementary program, tour the campus, and meet the faculty, staff, admin and students who make our community what it is. Enrollment is open year-round with inquiries being accepted for the current and upcoming school year.
