GHA Tradition: The many opportunities GHA students have to publicly showcase their learning. From the weekly all-school assemblies where each class takes turns presenting, to the author’s celebrations, music concerts, and art show over the course of year, GHA students develop confidence, poise, and pride in sharing their learning.
Neighborhood Spot: I love taking in the beauty of Fox Island and Gig Harbor from the water on my family’s boat.
Outdoor Activity: Our Fox Island students often spot me walking or jogging around the island. I spend a lot of time outdoors on Gig Harbor’s soccer and baseball fields rooting on my son, but also enjoy stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking with my family.
Place to Read: Cozied up in bed.
Childhood Memory: I studied ballet from preschool through adolescence. From the barre, wooden floors, and live piano accompaniment, I have the fondest memories of sharing my after-school hours in the dance studio.
