Megan Snow’s life has been colored by vast and varied experiences as a teacher and school leader, spanning early childhood to high school. A Pacific Northwest native, she graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and the University of Washington with a Master in Teaching. Megan originally joined the Gig Harbor Academy Faculty as a first grade teacher, where she demonstrated a deep understanding of the distinctives a GHA education offers. With a knack for getting things done and a leadership style rooted in empathy, she transitioned onto the GHA administrative team. Her role encompasses Admissions, Marketing, Communication, and School Program. She is an NWAIS Pathways to Leadership participant. In close proximity to the school, she lives on Fox Island with her husband, their son (a GHA Alum), and their playful corgi.
GHA Tradition: I appreciate the tight-knit sense of community and belonging that is intentionally nurtured here.
Neighborhood Spot: The view crossing over the Fox Island Bridge can’t be beat. I’ve never had a more beautiful commute.
Outdoor Activity: Walking and jogging year-round, enjoying the water in the summer, and skiing in the winter.
Place to Read: A shady spot in my backyard or cozied up in bed.
Childhood Memory: After-school dance lessons and summertime swims in Lake Sammamish.
