Hannah Jay

Art Specialist

With over 20 years of teaching experience, Hannah Jay has been passionate about the arts since she was a young child growing up on Fox Island. She enjoyed plenty of opportunities to play outside and on the beach and feels fortunate that her family loved to travel, raise animals, and create art and music. She later earned her BA in Architectural History and MA in Education. Throughout her life she has worn many hats! As a tour guide, she had fun introducing people to places and sights around the world. Later, as a visual arts teacher, she had a blast introducing students to all kinds of creativity in the studio, as well as making educational videos for Peninsula Hands on Art. Ms. Jay is enthusiastic to bring her love of art, kids and trees to GHA!
