Mr. Geoffrey’s Favorites

GHA Tradition: Every year at our Open House I get to meet future students and share my excitement about what we get to do and learn. I also get to see our fifth grade ambassadors giving tours around campus and feel proud about how mature they’ve become.

Neighborhood Spot: Gig Harbor Family Park. Right across the street from GHA and just a lovely spot to explore. In Tacoma, enjoying something delicious from Peaks and Pints.

Outdoor Activity: Weekly walks in Point Defiance Park looking for interesting fungi.

Place to Read: In the quiet early morning, curled up on the couch in the lounge watching the sunrise.

Childhood Memory: As a teenager, learning to play the guitar. That time and those lessons gave me the confidence and direction I needed and started another side of my life as a music teacher and performer.
