Before and After Care
Preschool through Fifth Grade Families
With the hope of providing families with flexibility, consistency and peace of mind, Gig Harbor Academy is pleased to offer childcare to its preschool through fifth grade families. Before-school care opens at 7:30 AM and after-school care closes at 5:30 PM. Both are available on an ongoing or drop-in basis. Additionally, GHA offers childcare over most school holiday breaks (i.e., winter, mid-winter, and spring breaks).
Childcare Rates
2026/27 School Year:
- Drop-In Hourly Rate: $24/hour
- Before-School Rate: $1,550/year
- After-School Rate: $2,080/year
Summer 2026 Childcare Details
GHA offers a Summer Childcare program, open to the public and GHA-enrolled students.
- June 15-August 21
- 7:30 am – 5:30 pm
- $300-$375 per week
- Enroll in all 10 weeks and receive a 10% discount
- Students enrolled in summer childcare can enroll in GHA camps the same week for 50% off
- Must by 4 years old by June 1 or currently enrolled at GHA
