Boh Isis-Smith teaches a full-day Pre-K class at Gig Harbor Academy and oversees the Early Childhood program’s license. She graduated from The Evergreen State College in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree focused on Child Development and Early Childhood Education. When she first enrolled, her plan was to transition into social services—but she quickly realized that she’s a teacher at heart and has pursued that passion over the decades that have followed. With over 25 years experience in the field as a Lead Teacher, Coach, Licensor, and Site Director, Boh brings a depth of perspective and understanding that will help guide the Early Childhood team. Before joining the GHA faculty, she worked as a Coach of other Early Childhood teachers within an educational service district. She’s a self-described “plant enthusiast,” loves crafting, and enjoys her fun-loving menagerie of pets.
