A Pacific Northwest native, Megan Snow graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors from Western Washington University with a BA in English and earned her MA in Teaching from the University of Washington. Her life has been colored by vast and varied experiences teaching children and youth, spanning early education to high school. Megan originally joined the Gig Harbor Academy Faculty as first grade teacher. Demonstrating a deep understanding of the distinctives a GHA education offers and a knack for getting things done and guiding people toward shared vision, she transitioned onto the Administrative team. She lives on Fox Island with her husband, their son (a GHA Alum), and their playful corgi.
GHA Tradition: I appreciate the tight-knit sense of community and belonging that is intentionally nurtured here.
Neighborhood Spot: The view crossing over the Fox Island Bridge can’t be beat. I’ve never had a more beautiful commute.
Outdoor Activity: I cherish the slice of my day spent walking or jogging and am learning to like learning to ski as an adult.
Place to Read: A shady spot in my backyard or cozied up in bed.
Childhood Memory: After-school dance lessons and summertime swims in Lake Sammamish.
